NOW ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS! Contact us to book your pet's next appointment.
With our on-site lab, we can perform routine tests, get an accurate diagnosis in minutes and monitor health issues.
You don't need to do annual blood tests, especially if your pet doesn't have any health problems that require monitoring. We normally recommend that your pet have blood work done every year starting at around age 7. When you come in for a visit, your vet will talk to you about whether your pet needs blood tests.
Geriatric blood testing includes biochemical analysis (organ function), thyroid hormone testing and hematology (hydration levels, possible anemia, infection or inflammation). If the results are normal, they'll be kept in your pet's file and can be used as reference values for future blood tests.
