Nutritional Advice

A balanced diet plays a critical part in your pet's health. Our veterinary team is knowledgeable about your pet's health and lifestyle and can help you find the best possible food from all the options on the market. We carry many different kinds of pet food, for both regular and specialized diets.

What kinds of food does your clinic carry?

We have a range of specialty products. You'll find regular and specialized foods for cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes, from newborn to those that are growing, and food for healthy skin and coat, dental health, weight maintenance, gastrointestinal and appetite issues, pregnant and lactating pets, health issues and convalescence.

Do young and adult animals have the same nutritional requirements?

No. An animal that's still growing and developing will have different nutritional needs than one that's reached adulthood. OIder animals also need an adapted diet.

What happens if my pet refuses to eat the food I bought at your clinic?

If your pet refuses the food you bought from us, we'll gladly refund your purchase. Feel free to ask us for advice before choosing a different kind of food. We're trained to help you find the right nutrition solution.

You'll also need to gradually transition from the old food to the new one over about a week. For example, for the first two days, give your pet 75% of the old food mixed with 25% of the new food. On the third or fourth day, give your pet a 50-50 mix. On days five and six, mix 25% of the old food with 75% of the new one. On day 7, you can give your pet 100% of the new food.
